With gunshot wounds and denied treatment for several weeks, Chuki Athmani, a 17-year old Muslim student is chained to his bed at Muhimbili hospital. The boy has since paralysed.

Chuki Athmani (17) was eventually unchained and began receiving medical attention following the intervention of President Mkapa himself.
